Craft Shows....

So, I am wanting to participate in some craft shows in my area and sell my hairbows to all of the little girlies around.... I have browsed the craft show websites and still, only one of the companies sponsoring the shows have the 2008 applications on their websites. One I emailed requesting an application and, of course, the email address on the website was invalid; bummer.

But there is the one that has the 2008 application. I will need to complete it and get it submitted as soon as possible. The only catch is that I have to provide a picture of my booth.... hmm... I have no booth yet. I guess that I need to get to planning.

Wish me luck!

February Sales!!!!

Yes, that's correct! I did sale a few items in February, which is extremely exciting!

These are my classic baby bows that were listed as a variety set. These I mailed to Camden, SC, so if you see these bows, let them know how cute they are!

These bows I mailed to Canton, GA. This is my Small Watermelon Slice hairbow and my made to match Gymboree's (M2MG) Holland Days hairbow. I was thrilled to have finally sold a M2MG bow! Stop buying the overpriced simple bows just because they are displayed next to the outfit! Search around... buy handmade.

Also, I've already sold one listing in March, but you'll have to wait to what it was! Awww.. surprises are fun when you already know the secret!

I hope that everyone had as great a February as I did! Let's hope that March brings more excitement!

Watermelon Slice Creations

So, this is one of my favorite hairbows! I think that this is just super cute and one of a kind!

I love making these hairbows. So far, I have made them in red, light pink, and raspberry. They are all just so cute!

I have also been thinking about using this same design and making lemons, limes, or canteloupes... not sure though.

I hope that if you are reading this that you enjoy this hairbow as much as I do!

Today's Agenda

So, here it is; early, cold, and dark. I'm watching the morning news. All they ever report about is drugs, car accidents, robberies, shootings, and animal rights.... Makes for a great day.

I will soon be up and out on my way to work. Yay. We all dream about work, don't we??

My dream job is to be the best hairbow maker in the world! Ok, so that's a little over dramatic. I dream about having a successful hairbow and girl's boutique. (That's a little more realistic.) One day, maybe one day, this will happen.

So far, I have a shop on Etsy. The web address to my shop is http://prissysissybows.etsy.com/. I have quite a few items in my shop, but that is not all I can do. If you are looking for specialty hairbows, just contact me through my Etsy shop and I'll create a custom hairbow, just for you! I love doing custom orders as it opens up my creativity.

I have a few pictures of what I can do posted here on my blog. I have also been working on lacy socks and little girl's dresses. I'll try to post pictures of those on here soon.

Well, I need to get up and get ready for the day. Adulthood calls.

Flickr, blogging, the daily grind....

Ok... so I am now officially a Flickr junkie....
http://www.flickr.com/photos/prissysissybows/

I'm still trying to get into blogging. Keeping a diary was never my cup of tea either.

So, last night, I gave the girls at church some hair ribbons.... They gave out hugs in return. They were so excited!

So this is just one of my latest boring posts.... I lead a fairly boring life. One day, one day, I will surprise you with some excitement! (Just wait!)

So, I'm going to also create a flickr account...

I think anyway. I would like to showcase my pictures for all to see. Since I sell hairbows, I would like for the world to see them (and possibly buy them!).

The News About a Sale!

So the Grand Opening Sale was successful! Five buyers took advantage of the sale for a total of 11 hairbows being sold! This was a wonderful first month for the business; I can't wait to see what February brings!
