Hairbow Storage Solutions

Hairbow storage is a dilemma for most families of little girls. Many just have their hairbows stored in a basket or drawer. This works fine for a while, but when the hairbows are continually crushed they become misshapen, wrinkled, and, well, ugly. Who wants to wear ugly hairbows?

Prissy Sissy Bows has a practical hairbow storage solution. Hairbow holders are perfect for hairbow storage because they hold numerous hairbows, prevent them from being crushed or wrinkled, and allow for easier viewing and display which, essentially, saves the family time. Hairbow holders can be hung in closets, bathrooms, doorknobs, walls... the possibilities are endless.

Hairbow holders are made from long cuts of ribbon adhered specifically to hold hairbows and clips. All you do is clip your bows to the ribbon tails and, voila, you've got storage and display solutions. Hairbow holders can be made to match the decor of a room, just by altering the ribbon colors and embellishment. If an embellishment is not desired, the simple ribbon bow holders are adorable, too.

In this post, I am featuring my Toad Princess Hairbow Holder. The pictures below show the finished product and it's purpose. Enjoy!

Being Follically Challenged Can Be Embarrassing for Baby Girls....

Is your baby follically challenged? It's nothing to be embarrassed about. Most babies are follically challenged.

Don't let people ask you how 'he' is doing when 'he' is a 'she'. Show them how they should refer to your baby with the Interchangeable Hairbow Headband.

This band measures approximately 13.5 inches round, the average newborn head circumference. It is made of a stretchy lace and has a strap that will allow for interchangeable single or double prong clippie hairbows.

This item is currently for sale in my Etsy Shop, Prissy Sissy Bows. The listing is for the headband only and does not include the hairbow.

I hope that you enjoy! Don't let being follically challenged keep you little girl down! Make her prissy like she ought to be!

Spring is in the Air!!!

Literally.... Already our cars are yellow with pine pollen! When the wind blows you can see the pollen drop from the trees and blow with the wind. There is just a yellow fog of pollen outside despite all of the rain that we've had this week.

To help clear the pollen fog and spread some spring cheer, I've made some very springy, happy hairbows.

Maebell Ma Belle....

This is one of my newest creations. This is Maebell the Cow. She is white with a pink nose and a gold cow bell. She needs some love. She would love to go home with someone. She will be available for sale soon. Please visit my Prissy Sissy Bows Etsy shop and take her home.

Craft Shows....

So, I am wanting to participate in some craft shows in my area and sell my hairbows to all of the little girlies around.... I have browsed the craft show websites and still, only one of the companies sponsoring the shows have the 2008 applications on their websites. One I emailed requesting an application and, of course, the email address on the website was invalid; bummer.

But there is the one that has the 2008 application. I will need to complete it and get it submitted as soon as possible. The only catch is that I have to provide a picture of my booth.... hmm... I have no booth yet. I guess that I need to get to planning.

Wish me luck!

February Sales!!!!

Yes, that's correct! I did sale a few items in February, which is extremely exciting!

These are my classic baby bows that were listed as a variety set. These I mailed to Camden, SC, so if you see these bows, let them know how cute they are!

These bows I mailed to Canton, GA. This is my Small Watermelon Slice hairbow and my made to match Gymboree's (M2MG) Holland Days hairbow. I was thrilled to have finally sold a M2MG bow! Stop buying the overpriced simple bows just because they are displayed next to the outfit! Search around... buy handmade.

Also, I've already sold one listing in March, but you'll have to wait to what it was! Awww.. surprises are fun when you already know the secret!

I hope that everyone had as great a February as I did! Let's hope that March brings more excitement!

Watermelon Slice Creations

So, this is one of my favorite hairbows! I think that this is just super cute and one of a kind!

I love making these hairbows. So far, I have made them in red, light pink, and raspberry. They are all just so cute!

I have also been thinking about using this same design and making lemons, limes, or canteloupes... not sure though.

I hope that if you are reading this that you enjoy this hairbow as much as I do!
